Doug Layton Sales Associate

My name is Doug Layton and I was born and raised right here in Yellville. I have lived here all of my life other than working one summer in North Pole, Alaska. I joined the Army Reserves shortly after high school and was part of the 489th Engineer Battalion in Harrison, AR where my specality was heavy equipment operation. I still use this in my current job as a dozer operator with the Arkansas Forestry Commission controlling wildfires. Some other jobs I have done include working on a blueberry farm when I was a teenager, factory work, construction work, and working at a hardware store. 

My wife Shannon and I have been married for twenty years and have three children. I feel lucky to have lived in such a great area to raise my children.We enjoy riding horses, four wheelers, motorcyles, hunting, fishing, hiking and kayaking  We have been to almost every state on vacations and I have seen some beautiful places but have never found another place that I would rather live than right here in Yellville, Arkansas.
